Our mission is to get you to experience Stockholm
The Green Guide: Our mission is to get you to experience Stockholm in a unique and sustainable way. We create memorable city walks.
Mission
About me – Den Gröna Guiden
City walks with presence, stories and sustainability
I create city walks that bring people closer to both the city and each other.
With history, culture and stories as a compass, I want to awaken curiosity –
and open up spaces for conversation, meetings and community.
Step by step through Stockholm.
My way of guiding
🌿 Close and authentic
Beyond the main streets. Into the city's layers, life and details.
🌍 Sustainable and gentle
With consideration for the place, the people – and what should remain.
🗣 Narrative and alive
Where history meets everyday life. The past meets the present.
More than a city walk
For me, guiding is more than a profession.
It is a way to contribute to a vibrant, curious and sustainable society.
To see the city with new eyes.
And perhaps also each other.
Welcome to join Den Gröna Guiden
– where the stories sit in the ground, the walls and the steps we take.
Vision
My vision
My vision is to create personal, inclusive and memorable city walks in Stockholm – experiences that feel as much as they are told.
We often move in the lesser-known neighborhoods.
At times when the city is at its most beautiful.
When the pace slows down – and the details take their place.
A walk that takes shape in the moment
Each walk is shaped by the people who come along.
Pace, content and stories are adapted to create presence, curiosity and community.
There is a plan.
But also space.
What you take with you
I want you to leave the walk with something more than facts.
With new knowledge – but also new perspectives.
And perhaps a stronger relationship.
To the city.
And to those you share the experience with.
Hospitality
Den Gröna Guiden's hospitality
Presence, care and memorable meetings
Going on a city walk is about more than listening.
It's about experiencing, participating – and feeling welcome.
My hospitality is based on accessibility, care and a genuine desire to create safe and memorable experiences.
From the first contact – to the last step.
Present – both online and on site
I meet you both digitally and in the city.
Via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest, I share stories, images and moments from the walks.
Almost all the visual material is my own – and reflects the places as they actually are.
My website is kept alive and updated.
Here you will find current walks, times and practical information.
I will answer as soon as I can.
Sometimes I'm out guiding – but I always get back to you.
Your ticket contains everything you need to know.
And after the walk, feel free to share your experiences.
Your words mean more than you think.
A warm and safe welcome
From the first meeting, I want you to feel seen.
I meet you with a smile, clear information and calm leadership.
Routes and pace are well thought out – to create flow, avoid congestion and give space for the stories.
Safety is a natural part of the experience.
I am trained in CPR and always have with me what may be needed.
Personal, inclusive and respectful
Each walk is a meeting between people.
I talk about the setup, invite questions and conversations – and create an atmosphere where everyone can participate on their own terms.
We start at the appointed time.
We show consideration for each other.
And we share the city together.
I meet each participant as I myself want to be met.
With presence, respect and curiosity.
Welcome to experience Stockholm with Den Gröna Guiden
– where hospitality is as important as the story 💚
