More about the tour
Island hike on three magical islets – Skeppsholmen and Kastellholmen
Current dates: June 4, June 18, July 16, August 27, September 10 and October 8.
Join us on a guided city walk in Stockholm, where the city slowly glides into tranquility.
Between bridges, quays and water spaces.
From movement to rest.
From city to island.
From the pulse of the city to the calm of the water
The walk starts in Berzelii park, where the city's life has always been close.
We move across Nybroplan and along Nybroviken, where Stockholm opens up to the water.
Step by step, the pace changes.
The sounds are muted.
Skeppsholmen – history in motion
On Skeppsholmen we meet another rhythm.
Car-free roads.
Lush stretches.
Views over Saltsjön.
Here we tell about the history of the place – like when Gustav III was hailed by a singing crowd in 1772, led by Carl Michael Bellman.
Kastellholmen – where the roads cease
We continue over the bridge to Kastellholmen, where the landscape takes over.
Here there are no streets in the usual sense.
The mountains, paths and houses control the way.
Stories about the inn Blås Ut follow us up towards the castle.
A place for meetings, meals – and views that stretch over Djurgården, Saltsjöqvarn and Södermalm.
Layers of time – close but still
With the help of pictures and stories, we let the past emerge.
What has been is close.
But without taking over.
A city walk in Stockholm – at a different pace
The walk ends at the castle on Kastellholmen.
Here, tranquility meets the gaze out over a city in constant change.
